Can I send my own truck to pick up produce?
Yes. Orders can be picked up at the dock. Please specify "for pick-up" when placing your order.
Why should I hire a Mexican H-2A labor force?
That's easy. They're legal, professional, experienced farm laborers. An H-2A labor force is the most efficient farm labor you can get. Mexican farm workers are reliable and experienced.
Can I hire Mexican H-2A workers if I only need three laborers for two months during the season?
The H-2A program is designed to assist producers in hiring seasonal labor. You can contract only one Mexican H-2A laborer, if that is what your operation requires.
I hire more than 100 seasonal workers each year. Can I afford a Mexican H-2A labor force that large?
You cannot afford NOT to hire Mexican H-2A labor if you are running an operation that large. You probably hire close to 200 laborers throughout the season in order to maintain a workforce of 100. With H-2A, you won't have that problem. You need 100; you contract 100; you have 100 serious, experienced laborers at your location from start date to end date.
My farm is a small, family operation. What would I have to do to accommodate a Mexican H-2A labor force?
Providing housing accommodations for an H-2A labor force is not as difficult as you might think. Depending on the zoning laws in your town, we could come up with a couple options for you to meet the federal housing requirement for Mexican H-2A workers. The cost of providing housing will be made up in the efficiency of the labor.
